Annenberg Foundation Sponsors Free Leadership Training For Nonprofits in Los Angeles

Apply Now For 2014 Sessions – Applications received by August 31 will be given priority

Annenberg Alchemy is a free capacity building and leadership development training designed to assist the leaders of nonprofit organizations with an operations budget of up to $5 million. Alchemy includes two phases: Leadership Seminar, the program’s signature course, and Alchemy+, the higher level course for graduates of Leadership Seminar. Applications are now being accepted for Leadership Seminar, an impactful three days of training that addresses fundraising, board effectiveness, public involvement and accountability.

This free training is now open to nonprofits from Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside counties. The sole cost of admission is the attendance of both the Executive Director and the Board Chair during the three days of training.

The last day to apply to Leadership Seminar is October 31, 2013.

Annenberg Alchemy Produces Results: More than 85% of Alchemy Leadership Seminar graduates restructured their boards to more effectively compete for financial resources. As a result, 65% of those organizations raised more money (an average increase of $86,564) in the year following their participation in Leadership Seminar.
