American Entrepreneurs for Economic Growth (AEEG)
With 10,000 members, AAEG is the largest national organization of venture-backed companies and other entrepreneurial enterprises. The association focuses on the public policy issues that affect emerging growth companies.

Association for Corporate Growth (ACG)
Global association for professionals involved in corporate growth, corporate development, and mergers and acquisitions for mid to large companies. Leaders in corporations, private equity, finance, and professional service firms focused on building value in their organizations belong to ACG. The group has more than 9,000 members representing Fortune 500, Fortune 1000, FTSE 100, and mid-market companies in 48 chapters in North America, Europe and soon Asia.

Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM)
A nonprofit association with membership of more than 3,200 technology managers and business executives who manage intellectual property-one of the most active growth sectors of the U.S. economy. AUTM’s members represent over 300 universities, research institutions, teaching hospitals and a similar number of companies and government organizations.

Ayn Rand Institute
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization introduces people to her novels, to support scholarship and research based on her ideas, and to promote the principles of reason, rational self-interest, individual rights and laissez-faire capitalism to the widest possible audience. The Institute is named for novelist-philosopher Ayn Rand (1905-1982), who is best known for her novels The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged.

Bureau of Economic Analysis
BEA, an agency of the U.S. Department of Commerce, produces some of the most closely watched economic statistics that influence the decisions made by government officials, business people, households, and individuals. These statistics provide a comprehensive, up-to-date picture of the U.S. economy and are key ingredients in critical decisions affecting monetary policy, tax and budget projections, and business investment plans. BEA’s monthly journal, Survey of Current Business, is available in PDF format for the years 1994 to present.

Foundation for Enterprise Development/Beyster Institute
A non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the use of entrepreneurial employee ownership nationally and internationally, in both the public and private sectors, as a way to build high-performing enterprises and improve corporate performance.

Fraser Institute
Produces The Economic Freedom Network Index, which ranks 123 countries, is a joint venture involving fifty-six research institutes in fifty-six countries around the world.

Global Entrepreneurship Monitor
Their research program is an annual assessment of the national level of entrepreneurial activity in 50 countries around the world.

Harvard Business School Entrepreneurs
In almost 100 years of operation, Harvard Business School has helped develop some of the finest entrepreneurs in the world. A new Web page developed by the School’s Entrepreneurial Management unit captures and shares the wisdom of twenty-seven of those leading men and women.

Harvard Business School’s Arthur Rock Center for Entrepreneurship
In 2003, Arthur Rock donated $25 million to Harvard Business School (HBS) to support faculty and their research, fellowships for MBA and doctoral students, entrepreneurship symposia and conferences, and new outreach efforts to extend the impact of the School’s work. The Small Business and Self-Employed Community Web site has been designed to provide industry/profession specific information to small business and self employed professionals.

International Franchise Organization
The International Franchise Association, founded in 1960, is a membership organization of franchisors, franchisees and suppliers. The Web site is dedicated to providing its members and guests with a one-stop shopping experience for franchise information.

Knowledge@Wharton
A bi-weekly online resource that offers the latest business insights, information and research from a variety of sources. These include analysis of current business trends, interviews with industry leaders and Wharton faculty, articles based on the most recent business research, book reviews, conference and seminar reports, links to other web sites. An in-depth searchable database of related articles and research abstracts allows access to information through simple mouse clicks.

Milken Institute
The Institute’s Capital Access Index (CAI) ranks countries by the ability of its entrepreneurs to gain access to capital. And each year, the Institute hosts the Global Conference, which attracts more than 1,500 leading businesspeople and policy makers from around the globe.

National Association of Small Business Investment Companies (NASBIC)
The professional association for the Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) industry. Mission is to build and maintain a strong and profitable small business investment company (SBIC) industry.

National Business Incubation Association (NBIA)
The world’s leading organization advancing business incubation and entrepreneurship. It provides thousands of professionals with the information, education, advocacy and networking resources to bring excellence to the process of assisting early-stage companies. Search for incubators here.

National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB)

Stanford Technology Ventures Program (STVP)
The Educators Corner is a free online archive of entrepreneurship resources for teaching and learning in engineering and the sciences. The mission of the project is to support and encourage faculty around the world who teach entrepreneurship to future scientists and engineers.
