We are the think tank for global entrepreneurs. Founded in 1998, the Global Entrepreneurship Institute (GEI) is a non-profit 501(c) 3 educational organization with the specific mission of mentoring and educating entrepreneurs around the world. Working as a global business incubator GEI facilitates introductions to investors, professional service providers, and other entrepreneurs.
We are a nonprofit organization which supports educational activities including: advancing knowledge through research, and disseminating knowledge by means of the internet, researching and writing books, producing newsletters, editorials, monographs, seminars, lectures, conferences and the like. We are continuously conducting research and producing projects in the fields of global entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial management practices, business planning, and venture capital.
We are a nonprofit organization that supports educational activities at universities and colleges around the world. We provide comprehensive resources for educators seeking to integrate entrepreneurship across their campuses including: advancing knowledge through research, and disseminating knowledge by means of the internet, researching and writing books, producing newsletters, editorials, monographs, seminars, lectures, conferences and the like.

Our Board of Business Advisors and Experts are world famous in their respective fields. Each advisor focuses on one area to best utilize their professional experience and knowledge. In addition, our Academic Advisory Board is active in our formal educational endeavors editing and reviewing our publications, textbooks, and assisiting us in the development of curricula for entrepreneurs around the world.
We are structured as a free, “open source” knowledge base on entrepreneurship. Unlike commercial web sites and portals, our project is run by a loose confederation of volunteers and non-profit educational backed groups, who help us compile pages of content and links for particular interest in which they are expert.
